Unfortunately, problems are a part of learning. And this is a DIY sir. Second. they clearly know what they’re doing since the house has not caved in. How do you know they didn’t already get an inspector that gave approval? Oh wait you don’t. Licensed general contractor 😂😂😂. What schooling did you attend to acquire such a license? What you really mean is that you paid $90 to register your business to the state as a Home Improvement Contractor lol. That’s not a license bud, it’s a registration so the state can collect a fee every year. That in no way implies that you are qualified to do anything. The hardest part about taking down a wall is the electrical
@matthewvidale29485 ай бұрын
Just know that if you come into a Reno video comment section and mention anything about load bearing walls you look like an amateur. Everyone in these comments thinks they are an engineer. All she showed us was her removing the drywall, the wall is still load bearing at that point. Then in the next shot you can clearly see the beam, and joists that are hung to this beam. So the load is now bearing on the beam. Now for those complaining about the electrical, once again you are not a professional and it is showing because it is very easy to re run these circuits and re wire that part of the wall. Yea there are some shady diys but before you comment, at least look at the video a couple of times

There's a lot of stuff that obviously you should leave to the professionals, however, there's even more things that you really can just do yourself. If you don't trust watching a KZbin tutorial, just do what my aunt did. Hire some guys to work on one part of the house, ask around and find which guys would normally work on the project that you're trying to do, and just ask how to do it.
