Thanks for great video, I'm going to do that to my laminated cabinet doors, does this still work? Also I have concealed hinges, don't know how much I can adjust them so the added thickness doesn't make a problem?

Great video! How do you cover the "ugly" side of plywood or mdf after you rip them to size? Doesn't show after being painted? Not smooth edges.

This was great...I was thinking of this but couldn't quiet get to your idea, thanks!!! My cabinets have edges that are rounded over with a slight taper so I still have to deal with that, any ideas?

Get a tablesaw and cut the edges to a 90 degree angle.

I thought the purpose of shaker bars are to give shadows this looks too thin. Nice tip for the handles. Also for doors that wide the strips should be wider to look chunky narrow strips suit the drawers

Would you be able to add glass to it after making it into the new cabinet

Can I use that glue if the cupboard door is laminated?

Great video, I am going to give it a go with my old 80's oak cabinets. But, I'm having a hard time finding 1/4" mdf. Do you think I can use cement glue?
@researchcapt2 жыл бұрын
No, use Titebond glue.

What did you use for paint exactly? Brand/color? Matte/gloss?

You are not ready for paint until you sand and fill the sides of the doors. Otherwise it will look horrible and unprofessional. Use Titebond wood glue and not anything for drywall as suggested. Spray the paint if you have a sprayer.

I know you can get solutions for that on woodprix website.
