I see them back in the 60's. But with a top on . Ols school box trap

I make a rectangulat tube out of 1 x 2 welded wire, and put on doors for ends. That way, I don't need to make a frame on top. Also, putting a bobber on the line about 2 feet above the trap keeps the line from tangling in the trap.
