A 7x16 trailer turned into a mobile hunting camp.
Super easy build, just took some patience and a bit of research.

You get my like and comment for the algorithm because this was humorous, original ("Tramper" is new to me at least) and eight minutes well-spent.

Love the build. I’m stealing your glass lid bungee design for both my travel trailer and my camping trailer.

nice set up. When my late wife was in and out of the hospital I found Folgers single brew coffee bags and I was immediately converted. each bag is foil wrapped so the coffee is the freshest possible and it brews up a thick rich large cup of coffee. Ive always like strong coffee and these brew bags deliver, they can also make cold brew. I am not affiliated with folgers, I just like to share good coffee! I always have a couple bags in my gobag and edc bag..They can be difficult to find although Walmart usually has them, Im hoping if I spread the word more stores will stock them! you could run a power wire from your tow rig to the jackery piggy backing on your current plug or adding a completely separate line

How did you insulate the exhaust for the heater to keep it from burning the floor?

What are the specs on your heater? Curious to know the usage on the jackery while running the heater.
@FieldtoFood
@FieldtoFood Жыл бұрын
It's a 1,000kw Jackery. The heater doesn't pull much at all. One night with two phones, two camera batteries, ceiling lights, and the heat only pulls 9%. If you wanna know the heater specifically, let me know and I'll post the link!

Awesome build man, what material did you use for the cabinets and counter top? Just starting a 14’ now myself.
@FieldtoFood
@FieldtoFood Жыл бұрын
Thank you! The cabinet walls are 1x6 pine, the cabinet doors are simply plywood, and the countertop is plywood that was glued and trimmed.

My ceiling will be tin 5 v roofing panels screwed directly to the 1.5” roof purlins. I only have 1.5” to work with, and was wondering if you think the lights that you used will work for that? Do you have to screw the light housing to the ceiling or are they compression fit in there and how easily can they be swapped out?
@FieldtoFood
@FieldtoFood 2 жыл бұрын
The roofing panels should work just fine, great idea! I used R5 insulation between the ceiling board and the purlins so with that I was able to caulk the lights in. The lights are not screw-in which is why I caulked them. To remove, all I'd have to do is cut the caulk and replace the light if need be.

Can you please in detail tell us what you used for the pull up table and shelf that looked very durable and nice being able to collapse
@FieldtoFood
@FieldtoFood 2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! So first and most importantly, you want to make sure the trailer is level from front to back, then determine the height that you would like the platform (shelf or table). Once you know where you want it, mark a flat line with a level and mark pilot holes for the folding shelf brackets. The brakets are in the description of the video. I used two different sizes for the shelf and table. Good luck and hope thus helps!

@FieldtoFood
@FieldtoFood 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I have the Jackery 1000, it does really well. The charge will last two people for week (running the appliances slightly conservatively and charging phones at night).

Awesome, I have the same one. Super nice! If not too much trouble, would be awesome if you would put the Amazon links to the fuse panel, 12 volt wire, etc, etc, that you used. Any of it will be helpful. I plan to do the same set up.

@@FieldtoFood you the man, thanks! Do you run your water boiler for your coffee, off of the Jackery as well?
@FieldtoFood
@FieldtoFood 2 жыл бұрын
🙏 Nope, for that I use a classic Coleman 2 burner propane stove. Which if you use, I definitely recommend installing a CO detector. They typically don't produce enough CO to worry about but in a trailer, don't wanna be too safe.

Nope, I ran them off a separate wire so I can use them with the Jackery. The lenses did fog a little but they are still super bright.
