Hi! No I don’t . I use my clients waist line. I just use the right proportions in the book that corresponds with my clients bust size

If you use a very good basic block that properly have enough contour to accommodate bigger bust. Natalie bray bodice never disappoints!

You’re welcome. I did not change the underbust from 16 to 14.. Underbust was 16 inches ( converted it to centimeters it was 40cm, I deducted 2cm from 40cm, leaving me with 39cm) and yes the point point didn’t change.

You’re welcome! 1. Yes I always draft a new basic pattern for each client. 2. The excess on the basic blocks are not always the same.. hence I check all measurements on each block to determine what excess I have and how to work around it. If I have 1” excess even on bust, waist and hips I use as seam allowance . If I’m short I add the difference.
