DIY TRASH TO TREASURE FARMHOUSE HOME DECOR PROJECTS USING THE NEW IOD MOULDS

We're going to make some FABULOUS Farmhouse Home Decor through these DIY Trash to Treasure projects! First, we'll take a half circle sign that we got from the thrift store and totally transform it! We'll do that by using the latest IOD mould! Next, we'll take an old window frame that my Mom brought me and turn it into a beautiful Flower Market Display Sign!!! Lastly, we'll take a metal tobacco tray that we got from the flea market and turn it into a piece of super cute Farmhouse home decor, again using IOD's latest mould! Love your items! For the window, I apply white glue that dries clear to keep the chippy paint as is and stop it from chipping more. After it dries, clear coat.

Love the window and fence idea! I have an old window that my husband rescued from one of his building sites when my daughter was in college and she wanted it for apartment. It is so heavy! Unfortunately, she has closed her shop but she's still selling online. Please take care when removing paint from old windows. Alot of this old paint had lead in it. Dangerous! Wear a mask and clean up the chips, and seal the wood. Great project!

Next time give the chippy paint a coat of poly acrylic and it will stay I have done this many times when I want to keep the chippy paint

Do you ever worry that the old windows have lead paint on them and if so how do you take cate of it

If I was sanding it then I probably would have used a respirator mask because of all the particles but since I was just basically chippy away the big chunks of the frame....I wasn't concerned. I don't know for sure if it was, in fact, lead paint but it's always good to be cautious! I also made sure I cleaned up all the pieces so no little creatures are eating paint chips, if in fact, it was lead paint! You know? Good question, though, Denise!!! I appreciate you asking it!
