You made that look easy, but know how labor intensive it really was. Great transformation, Brent!

Great hearing that Sal and thanks so much for all the support. And yes I always enjoy showing off all the hard work at the end in a fun way and that song is a perfect way to end each video I think.

Really great stuff, as usual! Makes me want to get into house renovation! Random question: is anyone one in you family from South Africa? I was just curious as to why you have Mariam Makeba as your song choice?
@BYOTools2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for the kind works John and nope. I actually stumbled across this song a while ago and loved it. never knew how famous it was to South African's until I noticed it in the comment section. I love the song and it won't be changing anytime soon :)

Really love the perfect fit of each piece of risers and treads! but do you not need to leave some gaps at the edges for the expansion of the timber, just like those timber (including engineered or laminated) floor systems?

I think one question is not covered in floor glue down and stairs installation videos: how do you transition from hardwood floor to a very top stair nose? Did you use tongue and grove to connect flooring to stair nose?

This looks amazing. We want to do the same thing for our stairs. But when we tried your link for flooring direct warehouse nothing comes up. Even searching the site using stair, tread, and other words didn't bring anything up. Please help. Thanks. And wow the change is incredible.

Nice work! Try to remove your gloves before feeding boards through the table saw, if the glove catches the blade it will suck your hand in

Great job as always! Would you recommend anything different for angled/pie-shaped stairs with a railing on one side? Or is it pretty much the same procedure, just with more angles?
