DIY Tribal Earrings

READ ME!!
What you'll need:
Foam Sheet
Tribal print ribbon or fabric
Shape stencil
Marking pencil (i used a white eyeliner)
Earring posts

Using foam and fabric is a great idea. The authentic beaded African earrings can sometimes be quite heavy and cause the earlobes to stretch, or if wearing clip-ons, it can cause the earrings to slip off the ear (I recently lost a gorgeous Masai earring this way). The only thing I might have done differently from the tutorial is make it a dangle. Still, it's quite unique and lovely this way. Great job!

Super cute! Because it's foam, you could stick the earring post through the foam before you wrap it with the ribbon/fabric and secure it with the glue on the side where the flat top meets the foam so there wouldn't be any danger of it separating from the fibers later.
