DIY Anjurisa-Inspired Hairbow | Easy Tutorial Using Cotton Fabric and A4 Paper Pattern
In this video, I’ll show you how to create a beautiful fabric hairbow inspired by Anjurisa, using simple materials you can find at home! This project is beginner-friendly and perfect for anyone looking to make their own custom hair accessories.
Materials:
A4 size paper (for the pattern)
Ruler
Pen
Cotton fabric
Sewing machine
Barrette clip
Hot glue gun
Step-by-Step Tutorial:
Create the Pattern: Using an A4 size paper, I measured 1 inch from the left side, marking it down the length of the paper. I then drew a straight line from that mark to the top of the paper.
Cut the Paper: I folded the paper lengthwise and cut along the line I drew. This resulted in cutting both sides of the paper evenly.
Transfer to Fabric: I placed the paper pattern onto my cotton fabric and traced it.
Cut the Fabric: After tracing, I cut two pieces of fabric and placed them together, with the right sides facing each other.
Sew the Edges: I sewed along the edges of the fabric, leaving a small opening to turn the fabric inside out.
Turn and Press: I turned the fabric inside out through the opening and pressed it with an iron to remove any creases.
Fold the Fabric: Following the video, I folded the fabric into thirds to form the bow shape.
Secure the Bow: I secured the bow by tying it in the center.
Attach to Clip: Using hot glue, I attached the bow to a barrette clip.
Add the Centerpiece: Lastly, I used a small piece of fabric for the center of the bow to complete the look.
And that's it! Your beautiful fabric hairbow is done. Watch the full video to see every step in action!
