thank you so much . I have watched your videos for about a month, l have learned so much from you. I love watching how you do upholstery. I have been doing upholstery for about a year and I want to THANK YOU so much for your teaching. I wish you would make videos that you go slower and I could purchase them. I know you could make a lot of money selling them. I have already recommend your videos to lots of people who buy fabric. Please if you decide to do this let all of us know. Again THANK YOU for your generous teachings. I will look forward to your next videos. Bobbi

After watching this about 10 times, it appears that the overhang on the lid is only 1/4" larger than the "box". Is that enough since it's going to be wrapped with 1/2" foam? I found it interesting to see how the lining is applied. You'd laugh if you saw how I did it about 25 years ago but that was before a KZbin or a pc, and without any experience but with a lot of determination, a non-electric stapler and a drill..done on the dining room table. I'm now 83 years old and determined to try to make another one with the assistance of this much loved video for which I'm most grateful. These days that plywood has become a bit heavier than I remember, lol. BTW VIEWERS, try looking up your questions in the comments, they're somewhere in there. It's redundant for these people at AOL to continue answering the same question ad nauseum....besides, I think they have better things to do!

The style of hinge used is a "lift up flap top hinge", commonly used in kitchen cabinetry for doors which open upwards. Put the quoted phrase into Amazon to find one that fits your project.

You are honestly my new favorite channel, I just watched like 4 of your videos, seriously I wish you were in vegas, id beg for a job and work for free.lol Altho I think I learn better from hands on training, I may be able to imitate the less intricate stuff, here by myself. I certainly plan to try, but wow its great, ur an awesone teacher, u make it look so easy. You don't have any parenting videos huh? No? Ok sorry thought id ask. Lol well keep up the good work, and if ever u take ur show on the road, come to vegas I got a ton of furniture thats beggin for a makeover. Haha take care.- Ange
