I have seen variations of cardboard sofas on YT. The gray chair in the thumbnail lured me in, being so handsome & of reasonable width. Yours is cute, though . . . . I appreciate the hard work you put into the DIY version, but not a DIY I can invest in, energy-wise. In the future, please consider showing a side by side b4 and after image (thumbnail) of the project OR just a thumbnail of the remade item, because what is shown in the thumbnail is what I expect you to have made yourself. I can't be the only one who prefers a B4 and after thumbnail image. As a new subscriber, I am looking through your videos, to see if you have done a modular sofa/ottoman set, bookcase, sofa table, etc. project. Squares and Rectangles are much easier on my questionable drawing and measuring skills, lol. 😁

Showing the fail construction versus the success really was a lesson in construction cause I would have thought the original way would have worked since it's like a blown up version of corrugated design but like the distances of the bars from eachother really mattered... The end result is super cute the slope of the leg end is especially nice. I also really like the button choice that shade of crystal really works with that fabric

I truly admire your creativity and tenacity. I would lose interest if I had to cut out tens of multiples of the same item. Though...I did paint the raised portion of 30 identical star ceramic ornaments for my niece's baby shower, using toothpicks no less. I have a question 🙋i was always told cardboard attracts l silver fish and roaches and other pests, is that an old wives tale or do you coat it in something before putting the fabric on? Or is it not an issue bc it’s covered?

I made a bench with tufted upholstery, and I used hot glue to put buttons into the indentations. Every time I sat down on the bench, buttons came loose. Does that ever happen with all the many tufted things you make?

I often find TV boxes at electronics stores, appliance retailers, or even from friends and family who have recently purchased new TVs. Sometimes, stores will have boxes available for pickup or might even have used ones that they're willing to give away. Another option is to check with local recycling centers or online marketplaces where people might be giving away or selling empty boxes.
