Written pattern below!! This video is not very beginner friendly. I’ve been crocheting for 10 years and it was near impossible to follow with the written instructions. I had to watch every stitch to know what was happening. With center color Row 1: Sc 8 in a magic ring, sl st into first st Row 2: sc2 into every st (16 sc by end of row) Change to petal color however you prefer to change colors Each petal: St 1: ch 5, yo 5 insert hook into same st (yo pull through 2 until one st left on hook) St 2: repeat the yo 5 stitch 3 times St 3: repeat the yo 5 stitch once, ch 5, insert hook into same st and sl St 4: sc Repeat around until you have 5 petals Each petal will have a total of 7 tall stitches across 3 stitches

Centre of flower MR Round 1 - Make 8 sc in magic ring. SS at the end. (8) Round 2 -Increse in every stitch including the one you ss into with round 1. SS at the end. (18) Change yarn for petals

Awful tutorial. From first round captions are wrong! (chain 8 then proceeds to sc ??) No stitch count at the end of each round - round 2 is unclear, I gave up after round 3. If you are going to post your work into the public domain it really should be more professionally done - at least edit the mistakes. 😢😢 End of rant.

Am I supposed to do 1 single crochet, then 2 single crochets around or 1 single crochet, 2 single crochets, 1 single crochet, 2 single crochets around? I’ve been stuck on this since yesterday 😅 1:54

She ends up with 16 single crochets in the second round, so she did 1 single crochet in the first stitch, then 2 single crochets in each stitch afterwards until slip stitching to join. I had to pause and count myself because I also wasn't sure what she did. Hope that helps!

I'm sorry but the instructions are not clear, it doesn't match with the few written instructions If u wanna make a 5 petals flower (I used a 3mm hook with cotton yarn corresponding to the size of my hook): Magic ring Round 1: 8 sc, sleep stich into the first stitch, chain 1 Round 2: increase in every stitch (mark ur first stitch) until you have 16, slip stitch in ur first stitch, chain 1 and if you're changing color, fasten off For each petal: - Ch5, quadruple crochet (they yarn over 5 times in the video but it fits better with 4 for me) insert ur hook in the SAME stich. - Quadruple crochet, insert ur hook in the NEXT stitch, quadruple crochet, insert ur hook in the same stitch, quadruple crochet, insert ur hook in the same stitch -Quadruple crochet, insert ur hook in the NEXT stitch, chain 5, slip stitch in the SAME stitch -Sc in the next stitch And then repeat (ch 5, quadruple crochet, insert ur hook in the same stitch...). You can do this until you have 5 petals (if you want to have 6, impossible with only 16 stitches, should be 18, so with 9 single crochet in the mr at the beginning and then an increase in every stitch to have 18)
