I made an error in relaying the wire needed. Simply 16 g for all the dangles. 20 g for wrapping the stone. Sorry about that! 😅

I think you would have an easier time heating up the wire then hammering. Essentially you're hammering already work hardened wire, heating it up would relax the metal more to allow easier flattening. You could hold the wire with a pair of flat pliers, use a lighter until the metal turns red then start hammering. I appreciate this video popping up on my feed :) very informative and a cute idea!!

The majority of my stones have inherited from my boss that passed away. She had a small business and her husband gifted it to me. I was so overwhelmed and thankful - that is what has started me on this journey! Now, I did go to an Intergem jewelry show, which I thought was a “not doing that again” and a few Fire mountain gems, and from Amazon, believe it or not, that were excellent from Justinstones. That was a long answer a short question 🤗😁
