i bought some of these gas struts for another project. Then was thinking about doing the same exact thing. Was thinking of using "Push / Touch latches. so that you could push down on the lift to release it.

Gas springs are intalled wrong way. You get oil dampening (movement slows nicely) at the end of the extension, if body of the cylinder is upside down.

You made this over five years ago. Are you still using it? How'd it hold up with prolonged use?

I gonna copy your TV-lift idea, I think it's great, congratulation!. But, can you tell me the technical specifications of the struts?. I mean the main characteristics for buying similar struts here in Chile. Thanks a lot.

Eric, we are simply not able to get this to work. I know it has been a long time since you made this video but I was just wondering if you ever responded to anyone with plans / instructions. I appreciate your time and hope to hear from you. Have a good one.
