Heh, there's a reason why this contraption is not a thing. It's easy to align your swing sideways, but hard to align it further/closer from you. You would rarely cut it in 4 equal quarters with this..! Also, last minute you put the head upside down bro! Cool music tho 🤣

It's actually pretty tough to cut through that kind of steel. It takes a while even with a good cut off wheel. Thanks for the video. The axe head is on upside down.

The german conterpart to osha actually banned very simmilar attatchments for hydraulic lumber splitters because while being more time efficcient they also had a tendency to make wood fly into the workers knees when the splitting head did not go through smoothly. I bet this axe is also a good way to hurt you kneecaps by having wood fly towards you.

It’s cool, but no way that holds up to repetitive use. And the quality welds make it look even better. Good job.👍

Well, some ppl have a welder and angle grinder at home... just because you cant do it doesnt mean anybody else cant do it 🤷 Maybe learn to do some shit yourself other than spending your time on the shitter with your smartphone 😅

You'd have to heat treat it after welding, the heat from the welding makes the metal soft

By adding the two together he increased the cutting surface area, reducing the effectiveness of the axe.

Для того что-бы раскалывать поленья придумали калун. А не топорный крест. P. S. Он не заточен с таким же успехом можно ломом откалывать или перфоратором долбит.

Chiranjib Baruah2 сағат бұрын
In twin axe the pressure on wood is less as the force you provide in it is distributed over large area of twin axe So better use ordinary axe

The point of the axe is that it has a fine point for cutting. Now that you’ve basically equalized the force in 4 directions I bet you made it even more strenuous to cut the wood.

Is running a bead on a weld not a thing anymore? I may have only taken a single shop class and only did like two weeks of welding, but Im pretty sure that we were taught to do continuous welds.

I have nothing about welding on my channel? Lol so now everyone that knows even the slightest bit about welding has to have welding videos on their channel? Imagine getting so upset you have to go that far.
𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲22 сағат бұрын
@HeyImAJB you stay doggin on this guys cold welds acting like Mr. Big Welder but nothing even remotely related to welding on your channel. How about usin all this energy you puttin into hatin on this guys shit n get yourself a life homie. No one likes that one guy just sitting back n hating on shit.
HeyImAJB23 сағат бұрын
Spot welds are literally the easiest welds to make look good with the least skill. How about getting some actual education because as someone who has taken welding courses myself and done my own research these are the most bullshit welds. Notice how many cuts and how little sparks are in the welding. Not to mention we don’t see a steady puddle or even actually welding at all. All they did was cut to right when they stopped welding and a few sparks were flying over and over. And a weld like this is not one you want cold.
𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲Күн бұрын
@HeyImAJB lmao you feel better about yourself trying to bring someone else down? Also i didnt know spot welds had perfect patterns like that guess that welding class taught me the wrong stuff😬
HeyImAJBКүн бұрын
No they’re not. They’re cold welds or sometimes called spot welds. Very little penetration and strength.

😂😂😂 Looks like most of the commentators here never chopped wood. This axe will chop a log in 4 pieces in one swing. You’ll need to swing the axe once instead of three times to get the same job done. If it would take you 3 hours to chop wood, then with this axe it will take you 1 hour. That’s 66% saved time, and he’ll still have energy for his wife at night😂👍👍👍

That's impractical and dangerous, not only because it wasn't forged from zero, but also because it's been welded, which makes it weak to strong impacts and it has a great probability to shatter and lethally hurt you.
