In this adventure, I go to a cave I know before in the mountains where I hike with my dog. In order to make the cave suitable for sleeping at night, I make the cave sheltered by natural methods and we spend the night here.
My videos cover Bushcraft, winter wild camping, nature documentary, craft, fishing, shelter, off grid, log cabin, primitive technology, wilderness survival and outdoor skills, diy, asmr, bushcraft gear like axes, knives, saws, backpacks, clothing systems, shelters and cooking gear.
No crazy music or effects - only mother nature and her sounds.

So how do you keep the slithering neighbors out, also looks like one hell of a place for the ancient sharp-tailed neighbors as well. But it looks great, I am with the other folks, knowing who carved that out in the first place would have to be a priority for me. It is too intriguing not to know. Awesome location.

I brought fried snapping turtle, to make her strong again and fried snake to make her flexible too. I also had a small cooler with a gallon of my homemade boiled custard icecream in it. The nurses liked the icecream.

The cave is a man made artefact, complete with pick-dug walls and ceilings and shaped entrance and steps. This is perhaps a shepherd's den or a seasonal dugout; it may have evolved over decades from a temporary bivouac in a natural depression. It could be thousands of years old or only decades. Tufa or Soft Limestone are good for this.

Looks like Turkey. There are a number of clues if one watches all of his videos attentively. That said, I don't understand why people have to make it such a mystery where, in general and without revealing precise locations, they shoot their videos! Are some KZbin creators ashamed of their countries?

@@bensmith4563 That was my first guess, but vegetation and color of the landscape didn't look quite right--kind of like my first watching old "spaghetti Westerns" in the 1960's when I just knew something was off and they weren't filmed in "The West" of USA. I also thought that perhaps the location of Mr. Sulo videos was in Baja California, Mexico, but some of the shots showed land too trodden (over grazed) even for that country. I'm going with 🤔Turkey, or some neighboring country.

@@willong1000 you're right it is like the old spaghetti westerns in it not quite looking right I had thought it was spain at first what led me to texas was that he was carrying a shotgun at first I know I'm not familiar with with international gun laws but I know in general guns are pretty highly regulated whereas I'm pretty sure in texas especially rural texas nobody's going to bat an eye for someone hiking around the bush with a shotgun

@@bensmith4563 Similarly, a tortoise in a "Mr Sulo" video that I watched today lead me to initially think that it was recorded somewhere in an American southwestern state or a Mexican desert. However, the extremely sparse vegetation, the hoof-beaten ground visible in some of the background of some of the shots and the washed-out, pale color of the landscape made me think of those Spaghetti Westerns. Like an unidentified earworm coursing through the mind of a music aficionado, the location captured my curiosity; and I had to watch several of his videos to spot enough clues to settle on Turkey as proximate vicinity of the videos. In the process, I also learned that several species of wild tortoises do indeed inhabit Turkey, though I'm unsure what use I'll make of that knowledge beyond mentioning here 😂! Like many countries in Europe and the Middle East, Turkey mandates a licensing procedure for its citizens to acquire firearms, though it is doable if they jump through the hoops and meet requirements, which include doctors' evaluations of applicants. One can research those requirements online of course. I prefer our Second Amendment! 💪

Funny. I prefer Karst locations that feature underground ponds and creeks, amid miles of cave not man-made. Presently enjoy underground parking under ancient lava within the Modoc National Forest. Free access up to 14 days every year. Visit a USFS District Office to learn what gates are open for public use.

The landscape looks really like the middle east, Palestinian territories, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan or Syria limestone mountains. Are you sure you are in Usa? Loll. These handmade carved caves in the limestone are also found in the middle east, they are really looking the same, but they are mostly very ancient and they are for familial burial purposes of the ancients. They can date between 5000 to 1500 years ago. Be carefull next time to look carefully among the debris of the floor maybe you will find some archaeological remains in these caves, even in the usa, maybe they are funeral caves of the ancient natives. Otherwise, in the middle east, if they are not tombs, they are water cisterns or shelters for goats and sheeps etc.

@@willong1000 Maybe you are right, but at the "about" page on the youtube page of Mr.Sulo it is written "Usa". So thats why I thought it is filmed in the us. From my small knowledge I thougth it may be in California since I think they have some limestones hills. What make you think it is in Turkey? In any case, you are probably rightt, I don't know. It will be very nice if Mr. Sulo will tell us more about the country he is living in, I totally agree. Any way I like so much his videos, I totally love the way he is filming and doing his outdoor bushcraft activities.
