Thanks for showing the struggle and the iterations, it's useful and powerful (to me anyway) to see that. It's how my builds always seem to go too.

Masking tape and have them lying flat-then bring them together works well enough, with elastic bands if don’t have band clamps. Another great video, criminal you don’t get more attention!!

@@stuffbyneilsmith In my head it's always simple 😂 But I always try challenge myself to build things using new techniques so I can keep improving. Learning new things doesn't always go smoothly but it's worth it 😁

Have u ever thort of useing magnets on like a removable door on some thing? Cud use it on the camper van maybe just putting it out there Also will u be making a tool station when u redo ur workshop/bomeshelter somewhere u can hand store ur sanders, clamps what not? Fully enjoyed this video keep up the fantastic work

@@LowBodgeItFilms you could also use the same hinges for the giant door in the same way as you did on the small thing in the middle, so you only have to lift a couple cm instead of a meter up

@@crodles I need to test that out. I did it to the front so If I needed to, I can leave the top exposed to get to the cables easier. If I had more room, doing it on the side would work better. Since then I've wondered if I could make a slide up version??? the lid built onto a draw, so you pull the lid up to expose the cable ends.
