Maybe placing eyelashes (one flash eyelash cut in half) just above each eye may have made her eyes stand out more. I think it's an individual preference. She is absolutely adorable!! Patti, thank you for sharing your patterns and tutorials with us.

I love her! I think I like her with the eyes. It's a little different, so she's unique. I have a question... You were using weighted beads, then weights, now nuts. Is there a reason some work better in some applications or is it affordability, or is it accessibility? I have them all but was wondering why. My question of the day 😊. Thanks Patricia. I use weighted beads if I have them in a sock and they are contained. I use the derby weights and the nuts. I just had a bag of nuts that I found in the garage and I thought I would try them. I have seen some others use them. They work as good as the derby weights, however, you can add more weight with the derby weights because you can put them in tighter spaces. Thanks, Patti

I have really strong opinions about facial features. I absolutely do not like eyes, not even a little. And I prefer big noses. Its funny that I've gotten so particular about gnomes! I've only liked gnomes for a couple of years, but now that I've started making some, I have very strong preferences for how they should look.
