I find it interesting that they don't include a gasket the size of the flange to be placed in between the metal roof and the flange edge of the fan.

Thanks! Yeah we're finally back at the cabin now after a long winter. Episode 22 should be coming out next week!

@ From the video I am concerned about how well the outside frame is sealed to the roof where it bridges the groove in the roof. Water will fill the groove and if it leaks will find its way to between the wood and the metal roof and soak into the insulation and you may not notice until damage is done. If possible fill the space under the frame, perhaps body filler, also remember ice expands and can open up joints. Neat job otherwise 👍

@@christroth8160 yes we didnt show that, but we did end up filling the gap made by the grooves and fully sealed it up. Thanks for the concern chris!
