The part your speaking of is called Rib knit it comes pre cut or in yard. These are use for jackets and sweatshirts . Or anything your preference. If you put Heat'n Bond light on the back of the felt before you place it on the cricket mat it will cut much cleaner and the edges will be more smooth..

You did okay, but you need to learn how to properly line this type jacket! All the badges and letter should have been "sewn" on first, and you won't have that stiffness! You remind me of a friend of mine, who was able to get by with the look... BUT, not the fit! You should've shown us the jacket on a model, so we could really see the outcome! 🤷🏾 KEEP TRYING! 👌🏾
