So do you have to empty and redo it at night to turn the LED on? If so I see no sense in putting in an LED if you're not going to turn it on when you build this. Are there LEDS that turn on automatically when it's dark?

it looks lovely. I'm no expert but I think if the glass jar had feet you could put an LED push light under the Jar, so that its easy to turn the light on and off.

Hondurez 7 that is an AWESOME idea! You can use 2 large beads (stacked & glued together with e-6000) to make it tall enough to slide the led light out from underneath it when you want to turn it off and on.

Thanks so much for watching and I'm not quite sure what you're are referring to but I didn't use anything in particular to keep in place. I simply coiled the flowers inside and filled with water and placed the candle on top (: feel free to ask me again. and congrats on the engagement :D
