Marta! This! Omg!!! I'm loving it, all of it. This is my favorite type of art. I love transforming something from that to this or this to that. You have done a fabulous job on this piece! And yes, you should spray it with a sealer, frame and hang it in your studio. You remind me of me when my babies were babies indeed, staying up well passed midnight just to have some "me time", whether it was reading, creating (I used to sew a lot) or just sitting outside and listening to the night sounds of nature. Wow what a video you picked apart a thinkers game and transformed it into a work of art. Like a magical world this box is full of stories. Gorgeous! What I wouldn't give for all those little wooden pieces. I think I would decoupage some napkin designs on them to use as a focal piece in some artwork. Maybe even do a triptych to use as focal pieces. Ideas are just running away! As usual Marta... fantastic!

I'm smiling as I was one of the small %age who voted for altered art. That's exactly what you created (imho)😅👍. A wonderful piece, Marta. Really cool with all the natural wood look. Yes, you should frame it & add to your wall. I am actually really great at adding tiny amounts of ink etc. Because I'm so tight with products, lol. I add more if necessary, of course. If you are able to be generous with stash, go for it!! No right or wrong in mixed media. Your papers, stickers and rice papers are lovely.......You know by now that I would order in a heartbeat. One day, hopefully soon. I do share your videos & I do absolutely support you. Always will. I think you and Miranda Edney (remember her? Such a sweetie) were 2 of the first people who I ever "met". I really like this piece. I love this type of art. I liked the moth or the bee better than the rose, but that's just my preference. I actually have a chessboard that I plan to alter, but it's just a flat wooden board not a cool hinged case like yours. 👍🏾

Marta please tell me what do you use attach mixed media to canvas? What type of glue? I want to create on canvas and frame some of my art. You also use a paste sometimes. What is the paste? What does it do ?

Heavy gel medium would work best for attaching. Paste... Texture paste for stencils 😊
