How well did these hold up? I feel as though the Glue in a glue gun once hardens. Tends to loosen up.

Though out of curiosity, couldn't you take the long elastic/ribbon and hot glue it into the edges of the shoe to start the ribbon there, like actual ballet shoes do? I'm terrible at explaining but just a thought.

Real pointe shoes have both elastic around the ankle and ribbon the ties on the leg. I'd love to see you make some with more authentic ballet design!
