For every time when you when you were a little kid in class and you said, "why do I have to learn math?" all your teachers will see this video and go, "now he understands!". Happy New Year. I was thinking about you last night and how much I missed laughing along with you in your videos. Welcome back, and hope to see more of you this year. It's good to laugh.

Happy 2023! Great DIY booth. Love the window! Looks like you 'framed' that out with some sort of insulation board, is that right? How did you attach it to the blanket?

Nah man it’s cardboard XD and I threaded three zip ties through the top to hold it in place

This so awesome!!! This is exactly what I needed, now to get my ass in gear

Do it! Remember though, this build only helps to dampen room reflections. If a room has TERRIBLE reverb issues it will only do so much

@@TheVocalButcher I figured, but any little bit will help for sure. I'd record in my closet but it isn't big enough, and I have a tendency to flail 🤣

Awesome video! How well does it keep sound from escaping out? I live in an apartment…can I use this for metal vocals and not scare my neighbors?

Thanks! And after having it a year I can tell you it is NOT designed for noise cancellation. It is meant to reduce the affect of “reflections” in your recordings. I also have acoustic treatment in my office as well which assists with the reflection reduction. Long and short no it will not stop you from terrifying your neighbors 😝 BUT it will assist in dampening their cries of terror through the walls
