Hi tingku... I fixed it to the wall with hot glue. Since the shelf is very light it stuck to the wall.

Both works well. White glue takes more time to stick. Hot glue sticks very fast. So I prefer hot glue.

You can use fevicol instead of hot glue for this project . The only problem is you have to give some time for the fevicol to dry. Hot glue dries faster. That’s the advantage of hot glue.

Hi.. this shelf is just for light weight objects. It might not hold the weight of the books. Also the shelf don't have enough depth to hold books.

Hi sumana.. I applied hot glue generously on all the popsicle sticks on the base and stuck it to the wall. But you can keep only light weight things on the shelf. If you want to keep heavy things you need to drill a nail on the wall and hang it.
