You can also juice your limes and freeze them. I do this with all the lemons, I always have lemon juice in my freezer. I would love to have some of those limes. You could even put out front and put free on them, someone can always use.

Just a quick note, the waddle fence looks great even though you are not done. Love it. Also I live in Southwestern BC and that is where we call it Raincouver and it is a rain forest. I grow Daffs and tulips and all the wonderful bulbs and we don't experience flatness of the plants even in the rainiest time. There have been times were we get 11 days in a row with rain. Everything enjoys the rain and it helps with the grass and such to store all the stuff they need in the times when it is dry and hot. Anyways enjoy the rest of your day. Oh just one more thing we have construction people whom will pour and lay the concrete down even in the rain and everything does well.

That river rock path you have going into the kitchen garden takes up a lot of growing real estate, especially since the garden is so small. Have you considered taking that path out and continuing the wattle fence in a straight line?. The garden is small enough so I wouldn't worry too much about being able to reach things.

I love your fence! I think it looks fantastic! I can so sympathize with your ambivalence about the rain. I live in Nebraska where the weather is SO unpredictable! We have recently suffered through drought conditions. We farm, so rain is greatly appreciated most of the time. But, sometimes it doesn't know how to stop. Both extremes bring their own problems. We aren't getting a ton of moisture right now, but it's much better than last year. Just so many gray, cold, windy days right now. But, spring will come to us, as it always does! I am planning to enjoy every hour of spring weather when it gets here!

Omg! You wouldn’t survive living in the southeast…we get so much rain here. We are getting it right now as we speak. Lol It does tend to get old especially when it seems it just won’t stop & there’s projects needing to be done. I would love to make a wattle fence but If you don’t live out in the country or near woods, it’s hard to find the right sticks to make one. There’s a KZbinr who lives in TN (Hop Along Hollow) who makes them & finds 3 different kinds of whips/sticks on her property like willow, wisteria, etc & she uses rebar as stakes to weave the willow around because as you had stated sticks seem to rot vs those tomato stakes. But very wise in thinking about the kids near the pool…could be hazardous. You are doing a great job. I can’t imagine not having to put up with a lot of rain. I would have more succulents if I lived in CA. Hugs from GA
@anngallegos5515
@anngallegos5515 Жыл бұрын
I do not have good luck with those tomato stakes! If they bend and the plastic coating cracks, the metal inside rusts and they break. You may have better luck with them if you are not moving them around.
