Wow i saw this right on time i hv a 4 tier wedding cake cupcake stand to make and i was thinking of usin vase for the legs,but lastnight the idea struck me to use the candle holders,then the thought was wht about the lights tht i wanted to put in those vase😆but here u gave me all the answers.thanks so much for sharing

About a pound or two. Good for a small cake. Make sure to only use e-6000 for this project. It takes longer to put together but it'd be very solid.

I love it! Question....Ive done a few other projects with the glue gun and my pieces come undone soon after....why is that?

Hi! Hot Glue is not permanent. It's liquid plastic and once it has some amount of heat it melts again, therefore your project fall apart. I only use it in conjuction with a heavy duty/permanent glue like E-6000. I use Hot glue as a clamp to help keep the project together while E-6000 dries. Hope this helps!

did not know they did that. I just ordered something and am having it shipped to my local store. I HOPE that isn't an issue I will experience and I am sorry you have to. try finding out when their delivery day is, you might be able to catch them while they are putting them on the shelves and I have even gone so far as to ask them to look in the back for something they didn't have on the shelves and they had it so I bought the whole case. Good luck and I hope you can get you some. They come in soooo handy for so many projects. Happy crafting.

My fam and I ate 70% of that cake and we're still alive. Lol! To be safe, make sure the letter doesn't touch the cake. Bamboo skewers are long enough to allow that 😊

Hi! Because Hot glue is not strong enough to bond together. E-6000 is the permanent glue but takes up to 24 hrs to cure. Hot glue allows me to make the project instantly while E-6000 does it's magic.

Yes, I had a hot mess using the hot glue and E-6000 when I made the centerpiece with the floral wrap. I had to wait a while and glue the candlestick holders together again.

Really! Well, some items can be this way, but not all. Are you talking about the taper candle holders? Make sure not to push down after gluing. They level themselves if you just let them rest on their own.
