Great video. I plan to build according to your specs next weekend. Quick question- For the uprights, at what lengths on the 32” did you mark for the horizontal 9” and 16” pieces? Thx!

What about adding wheels ? I want to do something like that to Store under my stairs. And want to pull it out when I need to take off the weights and then put them back as it’s a small space

Yes definitely get some caster wheels with plates at the top and screw holes.

Yesss! I wasn’t willing to pay half a grand for storage in my garage. And it’s very sturdy. I plan on making a new set and make them a bit more refined.

@@Thekettlebelldude I plan on replicating your project for all my kettlebells. I have to make them longer, so I must take in the consideration a stronger base.

@@teamsandu If I may recommend, try building multiple 4 foot sections.

Great work Kettlebell Dude. Curious what the total load is on the kettlebell rack you made. Poised to build one that will hold my 106# and heavier (future purchases ;) ). Thanks for sharing. Love what you got going here.
@Thekettlebelldude Жыл бұрын
Surprising this rack will hold a ton of weight. I gave away my old one to the movers. And am going to make another. It hold well over 400lbs
@costabasil3 жыл бұрын
Hi - could you please post the dimensions of the rack that you built and complete list of parts that you used? I've got: height=32", depth=16", I am not sure about the length. Thanks - it is very nice, solid. Also what coating for the wood would you recommend if want I leave my kettlebells outside on the deck (covered)?
@ThekettlebelldudeАй бұрын
My apologies for not getting back with you sooner. It’s been 3 years. You deserve better. I would recommend painting it with oil based paint or on oil based sealer to penetrate wood. God bless.

Have you found wheels that can take the weight. I want to stick it under my stairs and pull it out when I need to get the weights
@Thekettlebelldude3 жыл бұрын
I found some at Menards for around $16 each that are rated for 600lbs. That could easily work. “Shepherd Hardware 4" Polyurethane Swivel Caster Wheel”

Hello. What bars did you use on the storage rack with bumper plates?
@Thekettlebelldude3 жыл бұрын
Hi will. I used the crossbar from my Rogue Fitness rig. My garage was way to small to fit all 4 crossbars so I had one left over.
@tomasspallina64382 жыл бұрын
hi! the dimensions are in inches or feet
@Thekettlebelldude2 жыл бұрын
I think it was in inches. It has been almost 2 years since I made my wooden weight storage. I hope this helps.
@gouthamakta2063Ай бұрын
Hi, what is the length ?
@ThekettlebelldudeАй бұрын
Hi, if I remember correctly when I made it. I cut an 8ft board in half so as to not waste any material. It was 4ft long plus 3” accounting for the side walls.
@gouthamakta2063Ай бұрын
@@Thekettlebelldude thanks .48 inches seems long, don’t need any support in the middle so that it does not sag ?
@ThekettlebelldudeАй бұрын
@@gouthamakta2063 Nope. The sag was about 1/4 of an inch loaded with 2 rows of kettlebells.
