DIY Welding Cart

One welding project, and I was already sick of running around all day to collect my welding gear. Time to make a personalised welding cart that fits my welder and all fabrication tools I have.

How is the welder holding up ?

The welder is great in my opinion. Having the automatic setup (ESAB calls it SmartMIG) where you just enter the thickness and the build up is perfect for me (I a consider myself a beginner). Besides that, even though I only have owned the welder for 1 year now, I have gone through 2 5kg spools of wire and nothing has failed so far 🤞 As for the brand, I have chosen ESAB, since I live in an area where the brand is readily available and spare parts are easily accessible. Make sure you keep this in mind when choosing a welder, I know for example that Lincoln has a very similar price range welder and I heard many good things about it from even professional welders, so my advice: choose a service provider not a brand 😉
