Brilliant job. I will certainly be making something along your lines as I move forward with wet plate.

Absolutely brilliant, my friend. Looks like I need to make a trip to the hardware store today to build a box like this! Thanks for sharing your darkbox video with us.

Very nice. I think I'll make this. I've seen many videos and pictures of dark boxes that are just too complicated. This one looks like a simple 2-3 day build. Thank you for this!!

Thank you. This is a compact design when folded making it easier to transport.

Thanks for the video! Where did you get your silver tank box?

I made it myself from 2mm acrylic boards.

@@AnaloguePT That's awesome -- that is what I am trying to do. I saw another video that said to buy a custom class fish aquarium?? Not DIY. Do you have instructions or a video on how you did made it?
@AnaloguePT4 жыл бұрын
no video but it is quite easy. just measure out the pieces and have it well cut so the edges would be square at 90 degrees. Do not make it too big from your plate size else you will need more silver nitrate bath to fill it up. Next use silicon glue to glue up the edges. Once dried, fill it up with water and let it sit overnight to see is there any leaks. patch up with the glue if any leaks. Mine end up quite ugly but it works! this was built 6 yrs ago and maybe now there are better alternatives.
