I literally made the same exact mistake with this through-hull kit, drilling the hole in just slightly the wrong place. Except that it's on a $40 resin storage container that I'm jigging to keep a heated water bowl power setup for animals in my backyard. My heart also sank when I realized what had happened 😅 Since this seems to be a common mistake with this item, they should really point it out in the instructions. Hope you were able to get that hole plugged properly.

Man that is a nice fish finder that you got. It looks very nice how you having it set up man. Man I'm sorry to hear about that hole in the kayak man. That's what I'm scared about drilling into my kayak. I really really would love to see how you fix that buddy. I hope and pray it works out well for you. P.S. I found those Zoom worms & I bought them. I also bought me a couple of other bait as well for my kayak camping trip this weekend. Heading out Friday morning can't wait buddy. 4 - 5 hour drive from the house and we will be there. Now that I can get ready to start driving again it will be fun. Thanks for watching, spoiler alert, my next video I will show you how to patch a hole up using stuff you can get at lowes. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Good luck on your trip and I hope you catch a lot!

I've got a plastic welder. Not sure if you have plugged the whole yet or not. Save all those plastic shavings in any case.

Oh shoot, I didn't even think about saving the shavings. I already fixed the hole.... But not as professionally as you would have done it. Dang, oh well, thanks for the offer. I even threw away the big plastic circle I had when I moved the Hatch to the front not even thinking i might need it later for stuff like repairs.
