DIY WOLF CUT FOR CURLY HAIR

As someone who grew up being told I can never do my own hair and it will always end up looking bad if I try. This was so nice. I do not have money for a hairdresser at all, not to mention most hairdressers Don’t even know how to work on curly hair. I can’t handle my long hair anymore but I also didn’t want to go super short. This video was super helpful and this is the first time I cut my own hair and I am actually really proud of it! It looks good! And I am so happy

I tried this and let me tell you that I do t have half the amount of hair she does- but AFTER I cut my hair- WOW the volume!! Had I known I would have cut my hair like this years ago! I have wavy hair and the curls are sooo pretty now.

I just tried this haircut on my self last night and OH MY GOOD GOD. I love it. I haven’t gone to a hair dresser in quite a while and have been wanting to get a hair cut. I decided to do it myself at home and then if I hate it, I can go get it fixed. I’ve trimmed my own hair at home before but never knew how to give it some layers or texture. I did the cut. I do like how it rounds everything in a matching way. Despite my profile pic, my hair is currently almost as long as yours. But it's baby fine, so it's hard to figure out how to get body into it. I wish I had the bounce you have, it's really pretty!

I just did it after taking a shower, and to be honest I don't see any difference in mine maybe because I just cut 1 inch of my hair on every step. So yeah it's okay

Your curls are beautiful. My curls tend to get frizzy near the front top, I've heard this sometimes referred to as frizz halo. What do you recommend to get rid of that

Long story short. My hair was very long and I got a denman brush stuck in it and I cut my hair and got it cut to my shoulders. My hairdresser just gave me 1 layer haircut and now when I wear my hair down.... i feel like a triangle. Flat on top bushy on the bottom. I need layers. 😫 should I try this method or is my hair too short? Thanks girl. ♥️

I say it is worth a try! You can start with cutting just a little bit and see if it helps at all and then cut more if it's needed. You may not be able to get all of your hair up in the ponytail for the first pony cut. BUT I think you will still get really great results if you just get as much hair as you can into the ponytail, or even just skip to the ponytail that starts at your temples ☺️

The twist creates an arch shape ( longer on the sides and shorter in the middle) to avoid a straight across/blunt cut 😊
