My fzs was making nose. Then i replaced tensioner. The noise was shut until i removed and fixed back again when I noticed and sealed oil leakage. The tensioner is brand new and it is making nose again

That sounds strange. Change the oil seal and fix it back. Reset the tensioner and check if it resolves your issue.

Hey since you seem to have knowledge on fzs .I wanted to know what is the reason behind knocking sound when the engine is idling. It's like knock knock knock knock it fluctuates but when I pull the clutch it goes away.is it the tappets,valves or timing chain I have clocked 40k on the odo. Do I need to replace any parts

That's is something called the clutch 'chudder' or the free play of the clutch bell. Replacing the clutch bell / hub fixes the issue. Other than just noise, it doesn't damage anything.

@@MototechWanderer heard this for the first time,Thañkyou bro.and this doesn't happen every time I start the bike sometimes it does.and it is kind of irritating coz Yamaha machines are refined and you don't expect it to make that type of noises.and yes there is another problem while starting it feels like the machine is struggling to fire and is finding hard to get air.it hasn't been much since it's behaving that way.the same thing you mentioned is responsible for that??I have to give it like 4 to 6 try and it does start but at times I have to pull the throttle then only it starts.enlighten me bro.☀

Both the indicators light of my bike are not working properly. And when running for some distance my bike is facing difficulty in self start after stoppage and in traffic junctions. What will be reasons? I have already changed my air filter and oil filters and refilled new engine oil and also cleaned up the spark plugs but I'm still having the same issue.

Indicator not working is wiring fault. Check the indicator lines. Battery discharge talks about either Stator coil issue or Regulated Rectifier unit. First replace the RR unit and see if it gets better. If not, look for the Stator coil. Battery is the first thing you should check.

That part should be available to be ordered from Yamaha. Meanwhile you can seal the hole using some silicon or Anabond 666T.

Bro, while I’m decelerating a low pop up sound is coming from the exhaust pipe rapidly. I’ve consulted some mechanics but one said it is the failure of carb, the other one said that is was the problem in engine’s head (also said there might be the failure of reed valves in it), and the other mechanic said it is a dumb idea to remove the head it may effects the engine’s sound and the mileage also decreses rapidly and also said that it was the problem in exhaust pipe there might some break at connections so it was sucking more air And Now I’m in a dilemma. Can you please respond on this issue.

Clockwise to reset it. At a point it locks, a slight turn anti clockwise resets it. You can hear a tick noise when it resets.

@@wanderingnawaab mostly it's a timing Chain or tensioner issue. Try the resetting thing, if it doesn't resolve, replace tensioner. Also loose valve clearance or 'tappet' can cause clicking noise. Yamaha engines have clicking noise in general, it it's not too much, just let it be.

Get a good mechanic and get it sorted. If smoke is white, bore is gone. If smoke is black, it's a carburettor issue.

@@vigneshm1193 bore kit cost is 3500-4000 INR. Some lathe work in the head + labour charges... Total should be 8-10k total. Go for brand new bore and after the job is done, the white smoke will be there are oil gets deposited in the exhaust ... With usage that will also vanish.

As the sound is coming after engine heats up, I would suggest you to check your oil condition once. Also possible that the engine is not getting sufficient air to cool itself, make sure you havent blocked the engine with anything that restricts air flow to the engine. Also check tappet adjustment (Will be making a DIY video in future) or get it done by a mechanic.

I'm also facing the same problem. Bike is very smooth when engine is cool. After engine gets hot it starts vibrate and giving bad grinding sound. Checked oil. oil is good. I'm using Motul 5100. The problem is in engine.

Hey, After 3 years of riding the bike i fixed the issue now. I faced the same problem like you. The grinding noise and the vibration comes from the Crankshaft bearings, connecting rod and bearing. I changed it. Now engine sound is like a new engine. No vibration. No sound change even after when engine get heated.

verdad que no? pero igual allí él les dice que solo quiere asegurarse que el tensor está trabajando correctamente y si no se regresa solo es porque hay que cambiarlo, por suerte no se puso a hacerlo con el motor encendido porque ya todos habrían jodido los motores xD
