I have a 2017 FZ25. I usually ride solo and the bike is not forgiving whenever there are accidental potholes. It bottoms out and I am increasingly getting intolerant nowadays as I have gained a lot of weight, thanks to lockdown. I'll try this out by stepping up two clicks and share my observation. Just waiting for lockdown to be lifted.

Tightening up the pre-load should work. Go step by step and see which setting works the best for you with luggage.

I've had an issue. I'm using Yamaha MT15 covered 35000kms. I've found some play(up and down. not left and right) in my swingarm. First i thought it would be be the monoshock links which connect the chassis, shock and swingarm but there is also a play in the top of the monoshock ie, the top side. That is there is a play good amount of play on the top portion and also there a little amount of play on the down link which connects the chasis. Recently i've changed all the bearings inside the links. What maybe the issue? Is it because the top portion of the monoshock not tighted properly. When we reinstall the monoshock we have to push upward and then connect the down portion of the monoshock with other links right. I've found there is alot of play on the top portion. There is no bearing on the top portion because top bearing comes attached with the monoshock! Just like in this video when i get on the bike its moving more downward also i'm hearing a big air flow sound from monoshock. If it tigtens will the issue be solved. I'm also planning to add a extra bush to the top portion of the monoshock to eliminate the play. Cornering is now not good. I've done alot of off-roads from the beggining

My guess is the suspension connecting rubber bushes are gone. Squishy noise is common for all suspensions, nothing to worry on that. Adjusting the preload will definitely help in stability but will not resolve free play that has been introduced due to bad bushing.

You will find it in the Yamaha showroom. Else there is a contact shared in the video description (Merlin), he ships Yamaha spares across India. Some amount of jugaad might be needed to fix it to accomodate the Disk & Caliper.

Hello sir mujhe bike leke 2 saal ho gaya hai.. maine suspension soft kiya 1 point oe par tabhi bhi vo soft nahi hua.. path holes main jhatka milta tha bike ko.. main abhi 3 din pehle pura stiff kitya suspension 1 point pe.. par muje vo soft lag raha hai.. pura stiff krne se koi problem aayega kya suspension ko. Main pillion leke ride krta hu.. aur hamare yaha rasta kharab hai..

It's a debatable topic. Tests show that K&N are very non - restrictive ... Hence allows smaller particles inside combustion chamber, which can result in engine damage over time. There are no proper comparison tests done so far which proves that K&N can actually damage an engine.
