Fabulous, but I would definitely go with fabric glue and only if necessary

Fabric glue would definitely work on the whole thing. This wouldn't get extreme wear and tear so it would hold up just fine.

What kind of clear thread do you use??

I'm not sure, the stickers ripped off the ends of the spool but I'm sure I got it from a craft store. Not sure where you are or all the locations of this store but I shop at Joann Fabrics for that kind of thing. I hope that helps.
