They “prefer” to speak Kurdish because it was forbidden before like 15 years ago, speaking Kurdish could have gotten them jailed or worse meaning you’ve forcefully made them forget their own language. No matter how you look at it, no matter how hard Turkey tries to deny Kurds and Kurdistan it is still there and always will.
