Remake Catio No dead end!!

This time I decided to remake the design of CATIO.
In making cat furniture, there is a rule that you should not make dead ends.
This is because there is no place to escape when cat are cornered.
I found out about this after I made the catio.
Fortunately, Mugi, Hama, and Koyu didn't fight that much, so it wasn't a problem.
However, after Kohaku entered the cat room, Koyu started to look at Amber as the enemy.
Finally, Kohaku was cornered at the end of the CATIO, so I decided to ask Koyu to go to another room.
Furthermore, when I thought about the future, I decided that the design of CATIO should be changed.

I imagine doing this in an open carport (or garage). Build it around a cat-tree. Weave faux Ivey with fairy lights around the topmost edge. Get o crazy fish toy & a few balls they can bat around. So many ideas & possibilities.

Oh wow! What a wonderful gift for your furry family, to be able to explore safely outside and enjoy the view and sunshine. U read my thoughts about adding another floor up the previous! I had envisioned a larger square or rectangular 'foyer' but ok, do pls now create a tiny garden in that remaining empty space...or best still, remove certain grates to hold up the covered top and voilà, the kitties have an internal courtyard garden!!!!!!! Some parts at the top need plants for shades too. I know, coz my kitties take refuge underneath the foliage of cool bushes in summers.

I had a nice size outdoor kennel for my Manx. She couldn’t jump, she was old n heavy when I rescued her. She loved the patio and would go in and out the cat door. She had a great life in her old age. After I lost her I got a real cuddle bug boy but he is only 3 n he could jump over the 4’ fence easy. We’re your panels taller n you cut them shorter. I will need to get some wire cutters and make him a maze. 72 yr old n can’t get as much done as before. 😊

There are a lot of key tails or bob tails cat in Japan from long time ago. there are a lot of reason. but i like the reason about NEKOMATA monster. In samurai age,people believed when a cat with a long tail gets old, it becomes a monster called Nekomata. so they were scared long tail cat. and they didnt bred them. they take care about short tails. This is a picture of a cat painted in the 1800s.
