This is great! I visited my brother recently and saw that him and his family take their shoes off at the front door so there is a pile of shoes there. I offered to make a shoe rack for him to clean things up a bit. My design is exactly the same as yours except without the angle in the legs. I'm redesigning mine now! Thanks!

@@mike15rork As long as they were the sturdier 2x4-esque support pieces, definitely. The thinner slat pieces would maybe work but would be much less sturdy and might need reinforcement.

Love the build. I work almost exclusively with salvaged and pallet wood. This would be a super simple build that would really stand out. May I suggest picking up some Varathane ebony stain. I looks really good and would be easy to stain the spacer pieces before assembly. Thanks for the great content 👍
