I'm a 51 year old female who’s just getting into woodworking so I've been watching and learning a lot from KZbinrs like yourself. Out of all the videos I've seen, your builds are the most elegant. Even your jigs are the “prettiest” I’ve seen. Your projects don't look too intimidating to try and you explain things so well. Thanks so much for sharing!😀

What would be great would be a large desk area that is height adjustable on pulleys. Even better, if the angle of the desk would be adjusted. So maybe a pivoting system though this would require careful planning to keep solid and rigid. Another idea is to have the keyboard/mouse area on a different platform or isolated as much as possible from the monitor though this only applies to monitors with flimsy stands. This was a great video of course. Many thanks for opening our eyes to the possibilities.

Since you like the sit/stand desk elevator why not have a counter sunk shelf it sits on that has it level with the top of the desk while down so that when you raise it it rises out of the desk, would look cool and keep you from having to remove & store it when not standing, just a thought.

I just got done with a super basic U shaped desk. Never done any real wood working so these are neat videos for ideas. I just wish I had all the nice woodworking tools. I don’t do much wood work and it’s hard to stomach buying routers and table saws for 1 project. At least these give me ideas to build more. Future videos could you add approximate cost of the materials? I feel like my crummy U shape desk was super expensive for just a 3/4 8x4 plywood sheet and a few 2x4s. Kinda blew my mind when I ended up spending almost $200. I always thought DIY woodworking like this would be cheaper than just getting something from Amazon but now I’m thinking it would have been better and cheaper with a prebuilt thing.
