I like the real-time videos. Maybe in the future try to do a truck or a bigger SUV that requires a step ladder with only one person. It takes me about an hour just to do foam cannon, rinse and then rinse-less wash and dry. I’m thinking of stepping away with the foam cannon and just use the foam sprayer of DIY rinseless and then do a rinse less wash. Hopefully that can cut my washing in half. Especially if I’m washing once a week. No need for a foam cannon.

I first learned about your rinseless wash decontaminate and shine procedure over on pan the organizer's channel where you did a demo. It is now my go-to procedure for my car. I first used this procedure on my 2014 Kia Sportage. Being a 10-year-old car it had been washed semi regularly, but had never had any kind of decontamination or shine products put on it other than mother's carnauba wax. The way the car looked after the procedure was absolutely incredible it shined better than a brand new car That car went to my 18-year-old daughter and I replaced it with a 2024 Mazda cx30 in the Soul red Crystal paint. So naturally this was the procedure I used on it and it absolutely looks stunning. The product is so easy to use and delivers such great results and overall it is quick to use. The only thing I do differently is when I get out my big drying blankets similar to the one you're using, I do a couple of quick spritzes of the ceramic gloss product onto the tub and then I start to dry the surface seems like it makes the towel more absorbent and slicker feeling when I dry the car. When it is all dry and finished I will follow up with a coat of ceramic gloss over the whole car. You guys make great products and I love the real time videos because it shows you exactly what you need to do. Whenever anyone asks me how did you get your car so shiny? is it ceramic coated? I give them the link to your video on Pan's channel where you do the car. You guys make great products I love using them. In fact I just ordered the tire shine and will be applying that soon. You mentioned that if the ceramic gloss dries on the car it could be difficult to remove so if you were to get overspray or something like that or you missed a spot while drying how do you remove that?

Never thought to apply ceramic gloss at the same time as using the clay mit. I usually reserve the clay for full blown corrective paint/polishing projects, and not for maintenance washes since it breaks down the existing paint protection. But adding back the ceramic sealant seems like it will cancel it out. Brilliant idea!

Hey Ivan, I noticed in a lot of your videos you have the luxury of washing and decontaminating with iron remover in an indoor setting, which is great. My question and concern is I often do my washes outside and am battling the sun and even if it’s not sunny the heat. When doing iron decontamination as per your methods I try to bring the vehicle inside the garage. My question is how long is it safe to leave the vehicle with iron remover on it while it’s inside and the panels are still relatively warm, if the chemical dries up is that an issue while it’s in the garage or should I be rinsing it off in between? I have come across this issue on few occasions already. Keep in mind i do not have a drain in the garage so I would normally move the vehicle back outside for rinsing.

The bucket water looks pretty dark after a short while. How are you not getting dirt on the sponge and bringing it back to the car?
@tomevans545868 ай бұрын
The rinseless wash immediately attaches itself to the dirt and removes it from the sponge. Many use a grit guard at the bottom to rub against and help keep suspended particles at the bottom. Trust me, it works!
@diydetailofficial8 ай бұрын
We designed DIY Detail Rinseless Wash to clean the car and the wash media, not the water in the bucket.
@broderp8 ай бұрын
@diydetailofficial But you're dipping the sponge into the dirty water. Wring out the sponge or not, there is dirt in the sponge, especially after soaking it in dirty water. The pores of the sponge will capture dirt particles. I find it hard fetched to believe the chemical will somehow force the dirt out and leave only the rinsless wash or nothing on the sponge. I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm a customer and love the rinseless wash, but it seems you are better served rinsing the car with a good cleaner, followed by praying one panel at a time with rinseless wash and using several clean microfiber towel. Love the product and your videos, I just don't see how the dirty water is not impacting the wash process.
@diydetailofficial8 ай бұрын
It doesn’t impact the wash process, the water is darkened, but all particles that are big enough to cause damage are dropped to the bottom of the bucket. What you see is encapsulated in DIY Detail Rinseless Wash and poses no risk. That’s said if you’re more comfortable using multiple towels, that’s great, no need to change.

Most of the vehicles I do tend to be extremely dirty and the grill/front end doesn’t get a good clean in all those cracks and crevices. What’s the best thing I can do?

Thanks for the video. I never thought of doing it this way and it just made my spring/fall coatings on my daily that much easier. thank you for posting relatable content for vehicles people use everyday. It’s tiresome seeing everyone online who’s an “expert” saying you have to do a crazy amount of prep to add ceramic, an example being a polish. I never polish unless it’s absolutely necessary on my daily driver. I apple a spray ceramic twice a year and top up using it as a drying aid once a month. My vehicle always looks fantastic. Have a great day.

The battery powered sprayer looks way easier than pumping the IK foamer a million times. What brand is that battery powered sprayer?

I just don’t get how this method doesn’t scratch the paint. Have to try this method, I recently had my vehicle detailed and the did paint correction and demonstrated how to do a rinseless wash but in still scared

Rinseless is only a 30 year old technology, the industry is slow to adapt.

😜😜😜Of course not, I had to work on a network change until 3am for my regular job, and woke up early at 8am since had an appointment from a customer to detail his vehicle with the DIY Detail stack(8 and 3 years coating)
