This is just a battery full indicator circuit, it does not and cannot cut off supply to the battery.. These 18650 batteries must not be charged beyond 4.2 volt otherwise battery can heat up or explode and may lead to reduced battery life..

Error method and unsafe, 5V was connected directly to the battery!and there is no cut off when the battery is full ! And no current and voltages regulation! And the charging current will be according to the capacity of the charger (USB jack)!!

BC 547 Transistor has a 1st pin Collector, middle is base and 3rd is Emitter (CBE)and not E B C ?

I agree with You. First explanation like emitter - base - collector from left to right is not correct. Should be collector - base - emitter. And battery + is connected to collector.

I think he had it upside down when first soldering. It is stuck so far into the holder we can't really tell . But otherwise, it looks right. That's why he has labels.

the green LED indicat that the battery is full charge. the currant any time existe, and if you keep the battery on the this charger more than 15 minutes they will explode.

I think if the electricity is gone..then the red color led will glow continuously..and it will further discharge the battery..because of led ..u solve this problem..can I use a diode to stop the glowing led when no input current is given through charger??

If we connect input and output , 2 red wires and 2 black wires at the same point, input 5v will directly go to the battery. Will it damage the battery?

Sure, why not, it will definately damage. Also this ckt is just full charge indicator and no cut off is done

@@shubhamsawant5129 Not to mention it would probably overload the USB socket on your PC if the battery is low. I can just imagine causing hundreds or thousands of dollars damage to a laptop doing this.

The red led is connected directly to the power supply via a resistor to protect it. Explain to me by what magic it is extinguished.

Well you're not entirely right. It is not simply pluged int to vcc but parralel to the Emitter -Collector section of the transistor, which, if becomes a very low resistance section, it will short the led and curent flows trough other parts of circuit, turning it off.

Primero, presenta un transistor en posición EBC y comienza a soldar el LED rojo. Luego termina el trabajo con el transistor INVERTIDO, CBE. ¿Con qué intensión? El preset ¿está correctamente colocado? Es perder el tiempo

Pero la carga rápida daña a las celdas 18650 cómo va a cargar en 15 minutos una lo normal el fabricante dice cargar a 1 amperio y este men lo carga con mucho más de eso 🤔 Los ciclos de cargas se acortan mucho más rápido con la carga rápida yo no quiero cambiar mi batería cada año

This circuit is not for li ion battery..... This is very generous because this circuit have no over changing protection, over current protection...

पुरे part के नाम नहीं बतायें आपने. Diod, variable registnc की value भी नहीं बताई. और red led को variable reg से off करणा है तो full charge पे ग्रीन led लगेगी. फिर red led लगेगी कब 🙄😇

Um.... Even were this actually to automatic cut off the input voltage at the desired level, which I don't think it does, there's a bit more to charging a lithium battery safely and without damaging it than that. Please, people, don't take this nonsense at face value - you'll end up with, at best, some ruined batteries.

Me I make the circuit safely with 2diodes, 1x 1kResistor,1x 820ohms,1x2k resistor, 1 bc547 , red as Ns green led, that's what it takes to make a complete Liion Bart charger

plus a burnt out PCB board in the laptop / PC from over current if the battery is low. Maybe I missed it but I don't see anything current limiting. Sure, he's got resistors to show when the battery reaches a certain level but nothing else.
