Just wanted to praise you guys especially Ashley. . It is no small deal to raise children. To be a housewife and a mother. But I'll tell you to do that while absolutely everything around you is under renovation. It's not the first time you guys have gone through this so Ashley you need medals and I'm telling you you guys are so skilled. God bless you and your endeavours. And Ashley, you've got a lot to be proud of. You have a wonderful talented husband two wonderful kids and you haven't pulled all your hair out through all the frustrations of renovation. So Bravo to you.

The two of you are amazing ! ! ! You do not have to apologize for trying to be thrifty. It is easy for others, who may not have any (or much) worries about finances, to criticize your attempts to stretch your money. As a person who grew up in a relatively poor home (at times almost destitute) I understand how you may need to be imaginative in your handling of the family budget. You are doing a superb job! Keep your eye on the prize, as they say, and you will end up with a beautiful home that ANYONE would be proud to live in. The best of luck. May The Good Lord continue to bless you, your family, and all your efforts in creating a warm and loving home. 👵🏻🐾💕🇨🇦

Yes! Someone else who thinks laundry soap is better hidden behind a closed door. That has been one of my issues while house hunting. Most homes here have only a shelf above the laundry and I want a cabinet to put everything in. I love all the new updates and the lights look so sleek and nice, plus they are very bright. I also like the technology with being able to change the lights brightness and how they are more healthy for the eyes. Such a nice video coming off of the food tips videos you have put out lately. Actually, those were a good transition before the big reveal today. You both have worked so hard to make your house a home and it really shows. I hope the new cabinets you find are the ones that fit your needs. I am also picky about cabinets so I understand your ordeal.

Well, of course, you're on a budget my darlings. We just finished our fourth house. We've been building over 40 years of marriage, and every single house had a very tight budget. Unless you build a house from the ground up like we have and essentially like you guys have here, you have no idea the obstacles that can arise. It's mentally and physically exhausting. Once we contracted a plumber that just quit showing up and took our money. Never pay the full contract ahead of time .But we learned from our mistakes. I think everything looks absolutely beautiful. You've done such an amazing l job. Thank you for sharing. ;)

Ya'll have done so much work and replacement; I'm not sure you can even call that a Mobile Home anymore. If you ever decide to sell; you might think about getting it reclassified. I would for insurance purposes, because it would lower your rates. I love seeing you smile Ashley, you are such a beautiful MOM and wife to Doug and kidos. We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel and we can't seem to find butcher block counter tops that are reasonable. We live on 40 acres and I'm about ready to cut down trees. LOL But my husband says - we'd have to buy a planer which is the price of the counter tops.....so I feel your frustration. I"m excited to learn about where you decide on getting cabinets as I'll be needing some of the large drawer type for pans. I hope that gets resolved soon. Thanks for sharing what you can. In the past videos you shared what you do for a living....is that's something you'll share at some point? My husband has lost his job after 21 years and he is seeking employment and I'd like to see him work for himself....so I hope there might be some insight or encouragement you could give him. He has a KZbin channel; AmericanLIbertyFighters - he is a disabled vet and at 52 is not looking forward to starting over. If he doesn't find something; we will have to forgo our homestead and head back to the city which will be awful. Nevertheless; thanks for inspiring so many to keep pressing and not to feel pressured into making rush jobs to avoid mistakes.

I too have tried to balance a good deal with quality over the years sometimes you win sometimes you lose and it is always a headache when you lose but those times you win it is very satisfying and if truth be told most of us don't have a endless bank act when it comes to renovation so dont feel bad you will work it all out to your benefit
@bunny74034 жыл бұрын
I had a mobile home that the washer and dryer was in the hallway similar to what you have. The house came with two single cabinets - fairly narrow - that were in each corner - then they put a rod between the cabinets, about the size of a shower curtain rod. I had my liquid detergent in the large bottles with the pour spout in the cabinet over the washer; so all I had to do was pull it out just a little and push the plunger on the spout. The detergent went straight into the washer. I stored other cleaning supplies in the rest of the two cabinets. When I was doing laundry, I could hang things on the rod between the cabinets to finish drying. Just thought I would share that with you since you said you were thinking about putting cabinets there. You guys are doing a great job, by the way!!

You two make me smile :)) YOU GUYS CAN CALL YOUR STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND EXPLAIN THIS CABINET ISSUE. THE Attorney General will get involved. They enforce Consumer Protection Laws..and against scams.. they can help you return these cabinets and get your money back.. They will act as a middle man and make them forward their answers for them to review. AG will go back n forth with both sides to get a resolution.. They work in the consumer's best interest against being taken advantage of by these big companies. Let that cabinet company know you are going to contact the Attorney General to resolve this.. and then contact the AG.. Don't be surprised if the Attorney General actually answers the phone and not a secretary.. this is how personal it could be. They handle Consumer Protection Laws in each state.

I agree, corporate executives do not like AG issues to escalate. They are marks against their company that do not just go away if they try to ignore an inquiry. Generally corporate america responds quickly to these complaints.
