Yes you can paint it if you want. Or you can leave it as is. It's on the underside of the lid so no one will be able to see it unless they look inside.

They turned out beautifully! I’ve been wanting to use brooches but wasn’t sure if they would sit flush onto the glass!

Hi Theresa!! I'm so glad you like these. What I do is use a wire cutter to remove the pins off the back of the brooches so that they will lay flat or flush. Thanks again for stopping by and please have a great week!
