***Jai Ho Jibhi Deua Shesh Nag Ji*** Yesterday (15-12-2024), while scrolling through KZbin, I came across another gem by Himalayan Hearts-Studio. The song "Diyo Jibhi Ri Jai Kara" instantly touched my heart. This song was sung by the melodious voices of Ms. Anchal Rana and Mr. Arjun Thakur. Both singers poured their souls into this creation, making it a soft and beautiful offering dedicated to "Gadpati Shesh Nag Ji", the chief deity of Jibhi village (Banjar). The video beautifully tells a short story and highlights the unwavering belief people have in their deities. The message is simple yet profound - one must have faith in their local deity and pray with a pure heart. All worries, illnesses, and dangers will vanish if one walks on the line or path shown by their deities. This truth has been wonderfully depicted in the song and video. We had already seen a beautiful performance from Ms. Anchal Rana in the song and video named "Hurang Narayana - Mann Tere Charnu Laga." Ms. Anchal Rana’s rich, mellifluous voice carries a divine touch that makes the song even more soothing. Mr. Arjun Thakur complements her perfectly, creating magic with his deep and soulful singing. The entire team of Himalayan Hearts-Studio deserves heartfelt praise for consistently bringing such beautiful songs to life. Their work is preserving the culture, beliefs, and traditions of our region in a way that reaches every listener's heart. For me, this song holds a very personal connection. My Nanihaal (mother’s home) is in Jibhi, and Shesh Nag Ji has always been a part of my life. My Naani Ji, one of the most devoted souls I have ever known, has immense faith in Shesh Nag Ji. Her devotion has been an inspiration to me since childhood. She believes strongly in the blessings of the deity and trusts that all illnesses, sadness, and mistakes can be corrected through deep faith and prayer. As a child, every visit to Jibhi included a sacred routine. Early mornings were reserved for offering freshly plucked flowers at the Cheyunt, the temple of Shesh Nag Ji. I still remember wearing a traditional Kullvi cap, walking alongside my Naani Ji, and feeling the presence of divinity all around. Even today, during Baisakh month, attending the "5 Padeyi" at Sharchi and the "7 Jibhi" is mandatory for us. These are not just rituals but a way of staying connected to our roots and the blessings of Shesh Nag Ji and other deities. During Kullu Dussehra, when Shesh Nag Ji visits Kullu with other deities, We make it a point to pay obeisance at their camps in Dhalpur, which is also called "Tharah Kardu Ri Sauh".. These visits remind me of my childhood and my Nani Ji's teachings about devotion and gratitude. Songs like "Diyo Jibhi Ri Jai Kara" bring back all these cherished memories. They resonate with my heart and keep me connected to the traditions and beliefs I hold dear. I often listen to such songs from Himalayan Hearts-Studio during my daily travels, and they never fail to fill me with peace and positivity. I want to thank Himalayan Hearts-Studio for their efforts in creating and sharing these soulful songs. Their work is not just entertainment; it is a service to the culture and faith of our land.
