I was taught is school.for six years to sew over pins. Never had problems with machines going down. I have sewed over pins on all my machines

At minute 3:45 tell your watchers to be sure to leave 1/4 inch seam allowance. Don't cut off right next to the points.

Number one: a piece of fabric means one piece of fabric, not multiples sewn together. Number two: it took you longer than 15 minutes to make that regardless of the fact that the video was 15 minutes.
