My son is 37 my daughter is 34 and I used a similar rattan basket to carry them when they were newborns. I put a pillow in the bottom for support, swaddled them and placed them inside. So whenever I moved from room to room, I could easily grab the basket and take it with me to the kitchen, living room etc.. without disturbing their sleep. When they outgrew the basket, I used it for their laundry.

I have scored some incredible finds recently on Marketplace. A Stickley bed for $350 that was once listed for over $2500. It is in perfect condition. An Ethan Allen coastal-style coffee table still carried on their website for $2150 that I purchased for $200. Great condition. It is now so fun to mix higher end with "finds," and Walmart, TJ Maxx, Amazon, et al. You have been so helpful in expanding my thinking. I live in an 1844 Cape Cod-style home on the midcoast of Maine that lends itself to a more traditional look. That doesn't mean that I cannot have some fun mixing it up sometimes. Thank you.

I have only owned a coffee table once. Now I have a very functional storage ottoman, and side tables beside (the most modern looking and electric La-z-boy) recliners. My parents and grandparents always had recliners. We have had some for years. Now I'm in love with my new leather recliner that adjusts the headrest, lumbar support, feet and legs, and reclining. I do need a tray for my ottoman though.

Love to start my day w/ your fun positive energy! What would I pay for an item at Walmart? If I really, really REALLY love it, if it's perfect, if all the stars align & the boxes are checked, I will pay anything within reason! Now not to be negative, but that ottoman, particularly in white? All I can think of when I look at that style is tampons. Giant tampons glued together, & I think you have or had a couch in that so I feel a little bad saying it, but I'm hoping that trend is trending down the toilet (where tampons should never go, but I make an exception here). Otherwise, I love all the things you showed---I especially like the vase---sucker for anything with 2 arms, unfortunately I have too many vases already. Probably. Thanks for shopping!
