Hi Nancy. It is nice to see you making Malassadas they look excellent. I'm also Portuguese I live in a small Town in Alberta, and I make malassadas and sale in farms market. And seniors thank me for bringing Portugal to this Town. Everybody likes Portuguese malassadas. I'm the only Portuguese here. Say hi to your mom she reminds me my mom. Of course we are Portuguese. Keep up with the good malassadas ❤

Hi Nancy my mouth is watering will definitely try your recipe. My grandmother use to make them so much she would hand them out to the kids on her street that she got the nickname of Malassada we are from São Miguel. Thank you

I am so excited! Malasada is by far my favorite thing on earth and my mother-in-law used to make the most delicious ones. By the look of your malasadas I feel the recipe is probably very similar. I am going to give it a go! Tomorrow is my husband’s birthday and I can’t wait to surprise him and the family. Thank you Nancy for sharing ❤

These are some great looking malassadas. I make them, but they don’t look as beautiful as yours. I suppose the trick is to stretch from the inside out to make that indentation in the middle. They taste good, but not beautiful. Thank you for your video and your recipe and the demonstration. Great presentation. Big hug from a fellow Portuguese living in Atlanta, GA who loves malassadas.
