If you’ll allow me to ramble a bit, this is my most favorite song from you to date. It really connects with me because of where I am right now. I’m struggling with a porn addiction, and so many lines in this song reflect how I am now. I often see myself as someone I can’t respect because of the temptations I’ve fallen into, and I struggle to see myself as a person of worth (“But all I can see on the other side is a man I can never respect” from your verse). But like you guys said, “I’m no longer bound by my chains,” and that gives me hope. I know God can set me free from the pain and hurt, even though I keep falling. Yet he still care for me waking me up every day (Blessings coming down, it's in abundance.And it always come from Monday to Sunday) .And the last line ,don’t leave the same way that you came it really hit me. No matter how many times I fail, I’ll keep trying, refueling myself with God’s Word and Spirit daily, and I’ll surrender my life (like the name of the song gotta Let it Go) to Him completely cause he just wants to “set me free from the hurt the pain” I will suffer if I continue to live it. And of course, I can see why every other line also relates, but will be here all day 😅. Great Song
