Well I feel like no missing people ever get this much coverage. There's so many things that make this case different, like she had a following already and her parents were pushing for almost two week for her story to be put out bc they couldn't name her a missing person until the 13th of September and she was missing for more than two weeks before that. And every one knew it was Brian so they were all trying to get his name out there and begging police to name him a suspect instead of a person of interest. They did nothing, didn't ask him any questions at first, and then when they wanted to it was too late and he was gone. But I do agree, missing poc don't get any coverage and I wish they did. But I feel like her case could change things for that because I've seen so many other cases come to light since she went missing. I hope things change.

They were supposed to do that but the cop had a “ex wife” that suffered with mental illness so he thought that same scenario applied to this case. He gave discretion when the law clearly was made for him not to he even said “maybe give him a wink but we can’t tell him” in the stop, cops couldn’t do anything to help the situation after but the law was specificity made to prevent something like this

This case makes me cry. I'm exactly Gabby's size, 5'5" & 110lbs, spent half my life in FL & NY, & had a nightmare fiance at 22. Our neighbors called the cops one night & prob saved my life. A woman who worked at the police station notified my dad, who worked in govt. Anyway my dad drove to our house & told me, "We're leaving, get in the car, & I'll send a moving truck for your stuff later." Thank God I had a family who did that for me, bc I could've never left on my own. Gabby was isolated across the country & her family didn't have a chance to save her

I'm been let off the hook by cops, I have black friends who have dealt with very nice cops who have let them off the hook, it happens. Maybe it happens to white folks more often, but it happens. It was violent, & there are 2 police reports + a 911 call of strangers who saw it. The man who called 911 says he saw a male punching a female in the road. Gabby is my size (5'5" & 110lbs) and we can't defend against a healthy male unless we get a weapon. Males don't always realize how much stronger they are. Sometimes a male will push a female, maybe not even intending serious harm, but we can fall & hit our head, then it's called "1-hit h0micide." But IMHO I think Brian acted intentionally
