I’m an avid listener of the Brilliant Idiots podcast and for anybody here who does not listen to the podcast, I feel obligated to say that the fanbase unanimously hated this episode. Actually not even the episode but just this guy specifically. So I don’t want anyone to think this is reflective of the podcast or the fanbase. It’s really just this dude. Since this episode dropped, the most common fan responses are people echoing the sentiment that this dude is a hater and that all the time he could have spent promoting himself, he instead spent it hating on another man and have no desire to go and check out his own podcast because of how he carried himself on here. And the other most common fan response is people saying they only made it 10 minutes in and stopped listening. And if you’re someone who didn’t go listen to this episode, just know that when Ak says things in this video about not giving this guy any time or energy or anything that, he really isn’t. Don’t let the fact that this video is almost a half hour long fool you into thinking Ak did give him time and energy, because he really did only scratch the surface. That dude spewed out so much bullshit beyond what Ak touched on here. That MF tried to claim that Ak doesn’t create content. 😑 EDIT: There was another thing I wanted to say but forgot to. There is one slight deviation I have from what Ak is saying. I don’t want anyone to think I’m saying this in favor of that guy, this is just more of a personal opinion based on observation, but where my take slightly deviates from Ak’s take is the Taxstone comparison. I mean sure he called himself a “general” and talked about being from that kind of background, but I never got the impression he was supposed to be like a Taxstone-esque type of person. They carry themselves much differently. Again, I don’t want that to sound like that is one point in his favor because it’s not. It’s more of an objective observation.

All you gotta do to find out how insecure Charlamagne is, is talk about one of his numerous failed ventures. But when it comes to _Brilliant Idiots episodes with Wax_ specifically, there’s been some where the whole episode is worth replaying. One I know off the top of my head was the “Black Christmas” episode. I think it from the first year of their podcast, (if it was, then that would have made it their first Christmas-time episode). We heard a bunch of classic Wax stories and there was that whole phone ordeal. For OG Brilliant Idiots fans, if you’ll remember, there was a phone in the studio that kept ringing during the episode, and the guys were baffled because for the whole time they’ve done the podcast up until that point, that phone has never rang. And not only was it the first time the phone rang, it rang several times throughout the episode. And every call was from the same guy who was trying to get ahold of some woman. The guys were assuming that the dude calling was looking for his wife/gf, so Charlamagne, Andrew, and Wax took the opportunity to troll this guy by acting like she was there cheating on him with them. Andrew was pretending to be her and was nonchalantly telling the guy on the phone “it’s okay honey, they’re just fucking my pussy”, or something else along those lines. 🤣🤣🤣 obviously no one knows if that woman he was looking for was really his wife/gf or not, and the dude seemed confused and sort of _disorientated_ for some strange reason, so I don’t think we was actually picking up on what they were saying to him, but it was still hilarious nonetheless.

My first impressions of Ak was 8 months ago when he was hella rude to a girl of F&F, as well as the video of him and his gf having an argument after the club. Also noticed he invokes strong opinions among his peers in the space. Nevertheless I subbed to his channel and over the months have become a fan. He's entertaining/funny.
